The role is fully in person in San Jose.<br><br></p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities \u2014 What You Will Own</strong></p>\n<p><strong>1) Chief of Staff to Head of Engineering</strong></p>\n<p style="padding-left: 40px;">\u2022    Drive operational cadence: engineering all hands, staff meetings, agenda/material prep, tech talks, university engagements, action follow-through, and leadership syncs. <br>\u2022    Frame and resolve high-leverage decisions \u2014 proactively surface blockers (technical, operational, organizational) before they escalate. <br>\u2022    Manage escalations and organizational friction \u2014 diagnose root causes, coordinate resolution paths, and ensure durable fixes.<br>\u2022    Partner cross-functionally with Hardware, Product, and Quality teams to ensure clarity of communication, alignment on priorities, and disciplined follow-through on decisions.<br>\u2022    Support org design, headcount planning, and hiring prioritization for engineering teams.<br>\u2022    Maintain alignment across functions through clear messaging and communication, validate exitance and validation of processes<br>\u2022    Navigate org dynamics, build trust, and constructively challenge assumptions; maintain psychological safety.<br>\u2022    Support the head of engineering with administrative and org related activities</p>\n<p><strong>2) Lead ASIC Tape out Management  (Silicon Programs)</strong></p>\n<p style="padding-left: 40px;">\u2022    Status management \u2014 collect and track status across functions contributing to ASIC tapeouts.<br>\u2022    Milestone tracking \u2014 maintain methodology checklists and boundary agreements to ensure schedule adherence.<br>\u2022    IP and vendor tracking \u2014 own visibility into IP deliveries, version inventory, vendor issues, and escalation loops.<br>\u2022    Quality & documentation \u2014 monitor quality KPIs, ensure engineering documentation completeness.<br>\u2022    Requirements tracking \u2014 ensure PRDs/features are captured, tracked, baselined.<br>\u2022    Resource monitoring \u2014 track compute, hardware, storage consumption and thresholds.<br>\u2022    Internal reporting \u2014 generate status reporting for Silicon Engineering leadership.</p>\n<p><br><strong>3) Influence Without Authority</strong></p>\n<p style="padding-left: 40px;">\u2022    Drive cross-engineering outcomes through credibility, clarity, and follow-through \u2014 not hierarchy.<br>\u2022    Create order in ambiguous spaces; shape scope where it is undefined.</p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p style="padding-left: 40px;">\u2022    10+ years in semiconductor/SoC/ASIC or adjacent high-complexity engineering environment (e.g., CPU/IP/System companies).<br>\u2022    Proven success in Chief of Staff, Staff Program Manager, TPM Director, or similar technical leadership-enablement role.  <br>\u2022    Strong technical acumen \u2014 able to understand engineering trade-offs and make decisions with limited information, challenge assumptions, and earn credibility with senior ICs.<br>\u2022    Demonstrated experience running program cadence for complex silicon programs (tapeout, IP integration, etc.).<br>\u2022    Proven ability to organize complex workflows and drive consistent follow-through.<br>\u2022    High EQ and organizational awareness; can navigate tension and align diverse viewpoints. <br>\u2022    Exceptional written/verbal communication, structured thinking, and execution discipline.<br>\u2022    Prior experience in leading RTL2GDSII chip design is a huge plus.<br><br></p>\n<p><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong></p>\n<p style="padding-left: 40px;">\u2022    Engineering leadership spends more time on strategic and technical decisions, less on coordination.<br>\u2022    Milestones hit with fewer escalations and clearer accountability.<br>\u2022    Status, risks, and decisions are crisp \u2014 never ad hoc or late.<br>\u2022    Teams feel supported, not policed \u2014 trust increases, friction decreases without compromising on accountability  .<br>\u2022    Ambiguity decreases over time as clarity and execution rhythm scale with the org.</p>\n<p>Salary range is $216,000 to $300,000 depending on experience, level, and business need. The Claims Analyst is responsible to indemnify claims where they have been insured following the correct claims procedure, handle Claims procedure effectively in order to minimize losses and support on-time achievement of indemnification, as well as continuously improve policies, service standards and efficiencies in order to reduce costs whilst achieving all key operational performance objectives within a demanding competitive risk environment</p><p><strong>MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p><u><strong>Claims Handling: </strong></u></p><ul><li>Analyse claims relevant documents and evaluate whether or not a claim is covered.</li><li>Communicate and discuss results to external and internal parties, negotiate possible solutions.</li><li>Develop proposals for further procedure when exceeding own delegation (to head of department/GICD).</li><li>Establish and maintain updated reserve of each claim using the dedicated claims tool to ensure the accuracy of the financial information provided.</li><li>Prepare the indemnities on due time, imputing the information in the specific tool, so that the double check can be done and the payment released by analyst with the adequate delegation.</li><li>Provide documents to debt collection area to support them in the amicable collection with the debtor or to file a legal action.</li><li>Monitor and take care to keep the status of the claim up to date.</li><li>Take appropriate action to maximize recoveries at the outset of the notification</li></ul><p><u><strong>Customer service:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Communicate with clients and brokers preferably by phone, with email used as a backup in order to build relationships and provide clarity of understanding.</li><li>Correspond with policyholders, brokers, lawyers and internal contacts and take ownership of resolving their queries.</li><li>Improve customer satisfaction (availability, professional communication).</li><li>Assist the client /partner explaining and clarifying the reason for the non-covered invoices.</li><li>Initiate claims meetings with policyholder/broker/fronting partner. Organize the activities of the indemnification with the aim to improve the percentage of claims paid on time and therefore to increase client satisfaction.</li><li>Assist the client, broker, lawyers and internal contacts providing advice on issues relating to the management and settlement of claims, acting as a contact person available and professional.</li><li>Interact with the Debt Collection Department in identifying the most appropriate actions to take in the recover activity.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Reporting:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Compile reports according to group rules.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Processes:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Organize internal processes and workflows, and identify improvement possibilities</li><li>Participate in internal projects.</li></ul><p><u><strong>Compliance:</strong></u></p><ul><li>Investigate with the objective of fraud prevention.</li><li>Be aware and adhere to local compliance legislation and group compliance.</li></ul>",
